The Jefferson County Development Authority (JCDA) welcomes Krista Hoffman as its new administrative assistant to oversee the administrative, clerical, and day-to-day office operations for the organization.
As part of her role, Krista will also provide customer service, perform bookkeeping, and process accounts payables and receivables. In addition, she brings extensive business experience to the position, having been co-owner of a small manufacturing business in Jefferson County for 30 years.
"Krista's experience as an office manager and former Jefferson County business owner will be extremely valuable to the JCDA," said Dennis Jarvis II, executive director of the JCDA. "We are excited to have her as part of the team and look forward to the insight that she can contribute as a former business owner."
A Jefferson County native, Krista grew up in Charles Town. Krista currently lives in Inwood with her husband, David, and son, Jacob. When she isn't working, she enjoys traveling, reading, running, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
